At the end of
November St. Anton gets the winter season off to a flying start with
the traditional Wedel Weeks. From now on each month exudes its own
particular charm, making the Arlberg a dream destination for all winter
sports enthusiasts.
The Advent weeks hold out the promise of a romantic and peaceful winter
experience. Christmas and New Year’s Eve are a tremendous, carefree
time full of romance and emotion.
With the start of February you can feel how the sun is already getting
warmer and the days longer. While you can still dive into the flurries
of powder snow on the northern slopes, firn snow has already begun
to appear on the southern ones, thus opening up another new aspect
of skiing. Easter, the Firn Weeks and the Snow Crystal Week until
the start of May form a splendid conclusion to winter in one of the
world’s top skiing areas.
